Volcano Eruption

Scientist today has predicted the immediate eruption of the largest volcano on the planet to occur within the next six months. Already columns of smoke have begun to appear from the mountain tops. And with no evacuation orders have been issued yet, scientist all over the world here are excited to see how an eruption this large will affect the whole planet.  Some speculate the magma discharge, also known as magmatic eruption; will be enough to cover the land mass of Russia while the volcanic ash alone could easily cover the entire planet.

When asked what should be done to prepare for this event one scientist, Trebor Robert, stated that he plans to video record the whole event until the end. Another scientist Nisio Isin, has written a procedure very similar to what about to take place but chooses to delay publication due to the language it is written in. He did state that nothing will stop this event from occurring nor change the outcome of life here on Earth.

In Washington DC the President stated that he and his family will vacation at Camp David. The President will send his top aide, Anni Linna to NASA to coordinate the live feeds to all media outlets around the world as the event unfolds. Congress is not in session at this time as many members of Congress are already in their home States preparing for the upcoming elections.

The expected human death toll at the time of this event was quickly brushed aside as being trivial when compared to this planetary disaster that was preparing to take place. With a height of almost 14 miles (22 km) as the edifice is about 370 miles (370 km) wide or about the size of Arizona. This makes Olympus Mons one of the tallest mountains in the Solar System and the largest volcano on Mars.
